CoroCoro's latest issue has shown a number of new things in regards to the fast approaching Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes.
It has been said that in next month's issue of CoroCoro, there is to be a serial code for a demo for ORAS. Supposedly, you start off with one of Grovyle, Combusken, or Marshtomp, and the demo concludes by receiving a Mega Evolution. Not much information besides that is known at this time.
New Mega Evolutions
Now, what everyone's been waiting for! New Mega Evolutions! These are ones that were likely to be guessed from as early on as E3 this year, or even from ORAS's first reveal, but regardless, here they are.
The first of the three is Mega Gallade, which will have been evolved from Wally's Ralts from the beginning of the game. It retains its Psychic/Fighting type and gains the ability Inner Focus.
The second is Mega Sharpedo, who retains its old Water/Dark typing and receives the ability Strong Jaw, previously exclusive to the Tyrunt family line. It is said that all of its boosts receive an increase. It is owned by Team Aqua's leader, Archie.
The third is Mega Camerupt, who retains its old Fire/Ground typing and receives the ability Sheer Force. Its Speed supposedly decreases upon Mega Evolution, but its other stats are boosted drastically. It is owned by Team Magma's leader, Maxie.
Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon
The two "Primal Regressions" of Kyogre and Groudon have new abilities to replace Drizzle and Drought, respectively. Primal Kyogre's new ability is called Primordial Sea while Primal Groudon's new ability is called Desolate Land. These two abilities have the ability to summon strong rain and strong sunlight respectively. Strong rain blocks the use of Fire-type moves while also rendering the weather unchangeable, while strong sunlight blocks the use of Water-type moves while also rendering the weather unchangeable. They both get new moves as well; Primal Kyogre gains the move Origin Pulse and Primal Groudon gains the move Precipice Blade.

The Pokémon Company International has revealed that the rumored Pokkén Tournament, a crossover between Pokémon and Tekken, will be coming to Japanese arcades sometime in 2015. No information has yet been posted regarding its release outside of Japan.
As can be seen in the video, Lucario and Machamp duke it out in a one-on-one fighting environment focused on the duel between the two.
The previous video simply showed Lucario and Blaziken standing in a fighting formation on a city street.

As some of you might have noticed, the clock is gradually drifting forward. In fact, it's approximately four minutes ahead of the actual time. I cannot simply resynchronize it now because it would cause posts to appear out of order if any are made close to the synchronization point, as the clock will move back four minutes to its proper place. For that reason, at 11 PM PST tonight (that's in roughly 5½ hours), I will be shutting down the site for about five minutes to fix the clock.
This applies to all of the Victory Road Network.

CoroCoro's August edition has leaked some new information regarding Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
New Mega Evolutions
First up, we have a Mega Evolution for Altaria, Mega Altaria. Mega Altaria is retyped to Dragon/Fairy and gains the ability Pixilate.
Next, we have an unexpected Mega, Mega Lopunny. It is retyped to Normal/Fighting and gains the ability Scrappy.
Lastly, the ever-popular Salamence gains a Mega in Mega Salamence. It retains its Dragon/Flying typing but gains the ability Aerilate.
Cosplay Pikachu and Contest Info
Pikachu's recently revealed cosplay forms are more than purely aesthetic, it would seem. Each Pikachu gets its own special move that Pikachu cannot learn otherwise, much like Rotom.
Pikachu Rock Star gains the move Meteor Mash.
Pikachu Belle gains the move Icicle Crash.
Pikachu Pop Star gains the move Draining Kiss.
Pikachu Ph. D. gains the move Electric Terrain.
Pikachu Libre gains the move Flying Press.
There is also a new character, Lucia, who is a Contest Idol who gives you clothes for participating in contests. It appears that trainer customization will exist for these contests. Lucia has an Altaria.
Update: It has been confirmed that you can Mega Evolve during contests, but only when the "Excite Meter" is full. How this effects the Excite Meter and your appeal score is unknown. Furthermore, it is confirmed that Feebas's evolution into Milotic will once again return to its roots, being based on Feebas's condition.
It has been made official that there will be an event where the player can receive a Shiny Beldum holding Metagross's Mega Stone. Details on this event are unclear, although one can assume that it will be distributed much like the Torchic and Blazikenite were.

A new official trailer has been released for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, showing off the similar graphics to Pokémon X/Y, the starters' new mega evolutions, and an introduction not too dissimilar to an original trailer for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
In addition, the release date was confirmed as Friday, November 21, 2014.

Until now, the "Pokémon Team" listing on profiles has only had Pokémon up to Gen V listed (mostly because I forgot to update it). It now has Gen VI Pokémon in the lists.

Recently revealed were the 3DS remakes for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. These games are planned for release in November 2014. Like Pokémon X and Y, these games will be released worldwide simultaneously.
A trailer has been released at Pokemon.com revealing the boxart and approximate release date. The cover Pokemon are Groudon and Kyogre, as expected. Though they do look slightly different...Mega Evolutions, perhaps?

This June, a new title is coming to the 3DS in Japan and America, called Pokémon Art Academy (ポケモンアートアカデミー). The software is dubbed as a drawing step-by-step drawing utility (using the term oekaki in Japan) to learn how to draw Pokémon. Here are a few samples created using the software.

After many years, my old domain, Buizel.Net, has returned as a URL shortening service, much in the same vein as services like TinyURL and Bitly. What sets mine apart is the unique ability to preview the contents of the site without needing to visit it, saving you the trouble of loading massive pages only to be greeted with a small image or with a long advertisement before a video. The service scans the linked page for prominent media files and proxies them directly to you for speedy access. I've also added it atop the forum for the time being to get folks to try it out. :)
I cannot guarantee that the service always works properly, of course, and there's always a chance for something to go wrong. At the moment, an HTML5-compatible browser with MPEG-4/H.264 and MP3 capabilities is required to enjoy most features of the service.
Check out its ability to work with YouTube videos (be sure to watch it all the way through):
Reply with your best links created through the service! I'd love to hear your feedback. :D

We have completed another server move for the first time in several years. While I gradually go about fixing things up, please use this thread to report anything broken on Victory Road or any of its satellite websites. If something is broken such that it causes a security problem, please send me a PM instead.
