Many websites and message boards have been recently circulating a list of English and Italian Black/White Pokémon names. While this list is not 100% confirmed yet, it contains the names which have been just revealed by the Pokémon IGN. Until this turns out to be real, however, please take the list as lightly as possible.
EDIT: It is confirmed now by Serebii.

A new WiFi event is going to be released in Europe. This event will be starting from February 7, 2011 until no exact date. During this time, the three shiny beasts, Raikou, Entei and Suicune, will be downloadable. If any of these three is sent to Black or White, then you will be able to catch Zoroark. However, not much details are known about the way in which these beasts will be available, since the player might get one out of luck, or get them all in turn. What is also not clear is whether this WiFi even will be for the Europeans games only or will include the other American copies, especially that in Platinum, the Secret Key was first announced to be in Europe, but turned out to be available for the American copies as well.

Similar to the "Journey Across America" tours Nintendo used to hold, where Event Items could be transfered to the GBA games, a tour promoting Pokemon Black and White is to be held between February and March in malls across America. Not only will these tours feature early playable demos of Pokemon Black and White, scavenger hunts, purchasable Pokemon merchandise, contests, and prizes, but a free screening of the new Pokemon movie, "Master of Illusions:Zoroark" will be shown in the theaters of the malls which act as tour stops. This would make Master of Illusions:Zoroark the first Pokemon movie to be viewable in a North American theater since Pokemon Heroes in May of 2003, 8 years ago!
The tour will encompass 14 cities, beginning on the 5th of February and ending on March 20th. The cities and their respective tour dates are as follows:
Seattle, WA (Westfield Southcenter, Seattle, WA)
Cleveland, OH (Westfield SouthPark, Strongsville, OH)
San Jose, CA (Westfield Oakridge, San Jose, CA)
Memphis, TN (Wolfchase Galleria, Memphis, TN)
Los Angeles, CA (Westfield Santa Anita, Arcadia, CA)
Indianapolis, IN (Castleton Square, Indianapolis, IN)
Denver, CO (Town Center at Aurora, Aurora, CO)
Philadelphia, PA (Franklin Mills, Philadelphia, PA)
New York, NY (Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus, NJ) (Actually Friday and Saturday, March 4th and 5th)
Minneapolis, MN (Mall of America®, Bloomington, MN)
Dallas, TX (Grapevine Mills, Grapevine, TX)
Atlanta, GA (Discover Mills, Lawrenceville, GA)
Phoenix, AZ (Arizona Mills, Tempe, AZ)
Jacksonville, FL (Orange Park Mall, Orange Park, FL)

... March 4, 2011! Yes people! For the first time in Pokémon history, Pokémon Black and White are going to be released two days before the American release. Many people predicted that, especially after Pokébeach's reference, and it actually worked out. Well, these game do surely have a lot of surprises, don't they?

I would like to warn all users that for the past several hours the server has generally been lagging, with certain parts (such as VictoryBattles) going offline completely. We are working actively to resolve the issues, and I will update with any new information as it comes.
A slow query in VictoryBattles has been fixed. This has helps some things considerably.

*The subject in question has not been officially confirmed, and therefore should not be taken as such.
According to a columnist from GamingUpdate.com, when at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), there was little Nintendo-related merchandise on display besides the 3DS, which wasn't entirely on public display either. At a Nintendo booth, they discussed why there was no Pokemon merchandise at the show with a Nintendo representative, the reason revealed to be because Nintendo did not have the license for it. As they were about to leave the booth, the representative mentioned something of note:
"What I want to know is will the Wii title that they are making that is similar to Gales of Darkness have full connectivity with Black and White?"
Obviously, this would have taken the columnist by surprise, as no such game has been officially announced. According to them (the columnist), the game was apparently meant to be a combination of Pokemon XD:Gale of Darkness, and Pokemon Battle Revolution. That is an RPG-style story mode, with a side colosseum mode. The game is supposedly in development, and a full 3D title, as opposed to a My Pokemon Ranch-style WiiWare game.
