A variety of new bits of information have been revealed at this morning's E3 conference.

There are three new early-route Pokémon, including Pikipek (Normal/Flying bird with Keen Eye), Yungoos (Normal mongoose with Stakeout or Strong Jaw), and Grubbin (Bug beetle with Swarm). A variety of older Pokémon have been shown as available in-game.

Pokémon Sun and Moon Versions Confirmed

By Cat333Pokémon on February 26, 2016

In a Pokémon Direct stream that aired this morning, two new Pokémon video games were announced: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. While very little actual game footage was shown, the bits briefly visible on the drawing board reveal that the two games will feature three-dimensional worlds akin to Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. They are scheduled to release during Holiday 2016 and will support nine languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

It is not yet known whether these games represent a new generation or a continuation of Kalos. However, at least one new bird Pokémon is shown in the video.

In addition, the Virtual Console releases of the first generation titles (Pokémon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow) will support sending Pokémon to Pokémon Bank and into Pokémon Sun and Moon.

The full trailer can be watched below.

Pokémon advertisement to air during Super Bowl 50

By Cat333Pokémon on January 25, 2016

An official advertisement for Pokémon will be aired during Super Bowl 50. The version released online is dubbed to be the "extended cut," created by advertisement agency Omelet. The TV-size cut will be 30 seconds long and will air during the third quarter of the game.

The trailer, which does not specifically advertise any Pokémon products, centers around the theme of training and trying hard at running, chess, and football, to culminate in a stadium showing another Pokémon trainer with a Gyarados, Charizard, Magneton, and Mega Lucario.

Easter eggs include "Like no one ever was" above the locker room exit, a Nidoking chess piece, Volcano Badge helmets, and ads for Moomoo Milk and Rare Candy in the Japanese signage.

The trailer ends with simply a URL for the twentieth-anniversary website, Pokémon 20, and hashtag #Pokemon20.
